We worked with Plan International Ireland on a number of projects, all centred on promoting the rights of girls across the world.

In 2016, we worked on the Because I Am A Girl campaign, including Girl Takeover, which took place on International Day of the Girl, October 11th. The initiative saw 200 girls in 50 countries step into the shoes of political, social and economic leaders in a symbolic takeover. Everyone from the President of Nepal, to the Canadian Minister for Finance, and our own Taoiseach at the time, Enda Kenny, participated to represent the potential and ability of girls, and the fact that every girl counts.

In 2017, we worked with Plan International Ireland again on their Lost Girls campaign, to shine a light on girls across the world whose own voices are suppressed by conflict and abuse. We teamed up with The Women’s Podcast (The Irish Times) for a special Lost Girls event at Smock Alley Theatre. With a truly outstanding panel (Jasvinder Sanghera, Razan Ibraheem, Sorcha Pollak), music from rising star Farah Elle, and hosted by Róisín Ingle, our work on the Lost Girls campaign saw Plan International Ireland communicate their important messages to engaged audiences throughout the country.
