LEO Pharma helps people achieve healthy skin. The Danish pharmaceutical foundation develops and manufactures treatments for psoriasis, eczema, acne and other skin infections.Stillwater began working with LEO Pharma in the area of psoriasis at the start of 2016. Since then, LEO Pharma has launched an over-the-counter treatment for psoriasis, Dovonexâ Psoriasis Ointment, as well as two key pieces of research – the PSO What? Report and the World Psoriasis Happiness Report.‍

Interest in and awareness of the condition has typically been quite low. For this reason, we placed personal stories of people living with psoriasis at the heart of our campaign. It is only when people see the real suffering, both physical and emotional, that psoriasis causes, do they get an understanding of the impact it can have. This autumn, we collaborated with broadcaster and psoriasis sufferer Bláthnaid Ni Chofaigh as well as Dermatology Nurse Specialist at Sligo University Hospital, Selene Daly, to raise awareness of the condition ahead of World Psoriasis Day. Our continued campaigns have resulted in a dramatic increase in awareness of psoriasis amongst the general public as well as an increased profile for Dovonexâ Psoriasis Ointment.We’ve also worked with LEO Pharma on the launch of a new product for dry skin sufferers, Dovocare Intense Cream. Coverage to date has included television & print as well as Instagram and event collaborations with blogger Suzanne Jackson (SoSueMe).
